Exeat weekend

Exeat weekend is a weekend where every student who boards with the school leaves their boarding houses for the whole weekend. I dont really understand the idea of making everyone leave school, i dont, really. haha. Well, I guess it's a chance for students who board to take a break from school, which is needed, plainly because of the stress, and just chill out a bit. So, this exeat weekend, my friend and I spent the 2 nights in london=) It was a great weekend. Went to a christmas market called Winter Wonderland, which was really really nice. There were christmas light put up, toffee apples, hot donuts, christmas carols and more. Definately puts people in a christmas mood*. Watched NEW MOON!=D (yes, i am one of them)and managed to catch a contemporary dance show(jasmin vardimon company), which I have to say was AMAZING. So creative, like nothing I've ever seen before absolutely enjoyed it. Awesome media, brilliant choreography and impressively strong dancers. Inspiration man :)
The rest of the time was spent walking, shopping and sprinting for our trains=D hehe We're now back in the little bubble of tring=) "back to work!" as they all say=) Hope your weekend was as awesome. Whether it was spent sleeping, at the beach, in front of the tele or under piles of paperwork, I hope you still managed to feel that little high in your tummy just because it's the weekend :)

Time Difference.

Don't you find time difference so strange? I do. I cant explain it properly, I've tried, but you know what i mean no? It's so wierd...Technically my birthday isn't for another 4+ hours, but in Brunei, it's already my birthday.=) People from home were wishing me a happy birthday at 12 their time, but it was only 5+ over here...hehe so wierd right? I really appreciate ALL the greetings though. They really mean a lot. Even greetings from people I don't really know, they still took a few seconds of their time to wish me a Happy Birthday=)

Things like these make me happy=) I think that sometimes, people need to slow down with their live and take time to just, care=) do you agree? A genuine smile can be worth more than $$$0000. I'm not saying that money should be completely ignored but it shouldnt take over your life meaning, your emotions and your actions. You get me?
Have a great half term guys! whoevers having their half term at the moment. If not, have an awesome awesome day alright. You can be the one to make that change. =D

HALF-TERM

IT'S HALF TERM TOMORROW! oh my, what a relief! haha not to say that I dont enjoy school or anything, I do, i really do. I've actually grown to really really like school now. Even biology! Praise God=) AH! IT'S HALF-TERM! I'm so grateful for the ooportunity to take a little break from it all, step away and just breathe. I think it's quite important for everyone to have a lil for themselves, to stop what you're doing and just breathe. Oh and you know what helps as well? a shot of chocolate sprinkles, it makes me smile :) I'm serious, Try it! I've got a lil tub of chocolate sprinkles in my wardrobe=)It does help, haha Try it and let me know what you think.
HALF TERM HALF TERM HALF TERM! HEHEHHEHE We've only got half of a day in school tomorrow, NO DANCING! =) my lovely muscles can take a break:) Right I;ve got to go pack now! me daddy's coming over tomorrow. Take care guys!

Got my dim sum=) hehe Spent a weekend in Brunei Hall, which I have to say was surprisingly better than i though it would be. Mainly coz of the people who were there. Met up with ex classmates, old friends and the lot. It was great to be around people of your kind, haha that sounds a bit funny... but it's true though. You're never yoruself when you're away from your kind of people. There was a minute where i remember feeling like I was in Brunei, totally unaware of the fact that we're all in the middle of london. That's how homey brunei hall is. It's great=)

Am currently doing nothing much, just relaxing my mind really...waiting for rehearsal to start. Another 15 minutes.....to be honest, I really dont want to be here...at school. Thinking about the long, dark and cold and dark and...cold! walk back to the house is exhausting enough. aaah.... as you can tell, I'm just really tired and blaaa now. yeah. It's getting colder every single day. It's really pretty though=) with all the orange leaves on the ground, and stuff..=)
God is an amazing artist isn't He. Our lives are moving sooooo fast, like the london underground:) that we sometimes miss out the simple things in life. APPRECIATION <3 :) That's the word of the week guys, Appreciation.

Right, I'm gonna head off to my rehearsal now. Another looong night ahead :) I wish Tring had starbucks, would make times like these a little bit better. mmm starbucks... haha new craving!

MAGGI :D

Dear me, I'm desperately craving for some dimsum and maggi! like seriously, I;ve never wanted them so bad before! I really want a bowl of freshly cooked chicken flavoured maggi with egg. Oh and it has to be cooked by someone, whether it's a friend or family...I dont know why, but there's just something about Maggi thats been cooked by someone else. Not just anyone, but someone you're close to=) Well it's better for me anyway haha=D ah dear....my tummy is growling. MAGGI! OH SWEET MAGGI! CHICKEN FLAVOURED or actually....ASAM LAKSA FLAVOURED WOULD BE GOOD TOO! Can someone cook me some maggi please? =)

Back to school.

NEW LAYOUT! =) I know it is a little boring, okay maybe more than a little, but I like it. It's simple and it;s all about the words haha. Have yet to make a few changes here and there, so be patient. Whoever wants to help me, (*wink wink* rowena =D) you're more than welcomed haha. It's my first weekend back in TRING, lil' old tring. It's a nice little town with lovely people but it can sometimes get to a stage where you feel like you're trapped in a little bubble. Like nothing outside tring exists. It's tring and only tring. So it's good to go out and just see people, interact with non-tring people and just take everything in. That's what weekenda are for haha.

I have yet to visit a few of my ex-chms classmates who have just moved to the UK for studies. It's such a good feeling to know that there is someones in the UK I can relate to, just knowing that someone from brunei is here comforts me :) I guess that's normal for everyone coz there's no place like home and so when you're thousands of miles away from your lil comfort blanket, hearing or seeing anything about it puts you at peace=)Home will always be Home

Whilst being away from home, God has also been there with me every step of the way. I've got a new found glory in God, and it's been amazing. He has filled that hole in my heart, and He is the only one that can take that place. He is moulding me and changing me like never before and He will continue His work on me till I become the person He made me to be. U6th will come with different challenges, challenges that I might not have come across before, but it'll be alright. What's important is that I try my very best and work my very hardest to be the best I can be as I was given this oppurtunity. I find something new in God everyday, and it is exciting=)

=D Just got back from the short family trip to singapore today. It was quite a good trip I must say. Got to shop a little and also got to meet up with my dearly beloved melissa lee may :), jess and mira whom I also love very much. Jess, Mel and I met up first and went to watch "Up" 3D version! It was fun! hehe We got so excited over the 3D glasses, mel was dissapointed we couldnt keep them though, maybe next time mel=) It's a good movie, it has a moral as well, I highly recommend it=) The next movie I would love to watch is "Orphan". It sounds really interesting. Apparently the girl is actually a 30 something year old woman with a mental problem, or something like that...dont really know..Cant wait to see it! Anyway, after the movie, we decided to go meet up with mira at her hotel. So we took the mrt to orchard road and started our journey searching for mira's hotel. "Opposite far east plaze". That was the information we got for the location of the hotel. We then set off looking for far east plaza, with the help of mel=) haha unfortunately she led us to the wrong building! but it's okay, it wasnt her fault, the buildings were very similar so you know=) haha anyway, at the end of the day, we managed to find it. We then went on to have a lovely evening out and about orchard road. The pains, aches and sweat were all worth it, just to spend time with the 3 lovely ladies( wah wah ladies... grow up already hehe=D) whom I hold very dear to my heart.

Home Sweet Home=)

I'm home! =) It feels good being home, back in Brunei, eventhough I haven't had the chance to feel brunei yet haha, by this I mean going out, feeling the warmth of the sun, and just being amongst the green=) This is because.....an unfortunate accident took place...... dun dun dun... haha nothing serious. I just broke my foot and am now in a cast and on crutches=) yeap, I am. My cast is pink though, that makes everything a bit more exciting doesn't it. haha.

This is my first serious injury, and of course I am a bit down because this incident happened right before the 4 most exciting weeks of school! but things happen for a reason, so it's all good. This will pass, so I might as well make the best out of it, while it lasts=) Positive thinking yo, always works=D The last four weeks of school! Cups, founder's day performance, rad exam, summer workshop in italy!!!! and most importantly my friends. I was looking forward to spending the last 4 weeks with them, before we break up for the summer holidays. 8 weeks! that's a long long time, especially when we're all living together. I;m sure the people who board will know exactly what I mean. The relationships that you build up with people whom you see just for the day, and the relationships you build up with people whom you spend 24/7 of your time with is totally different. And I'm thankful that I got the chance to experience it.
I can say that I'm a different person today than from who I was a year ago. Spending this amazing year with people who have completely different personaities, people with completely different attitudes, young people who are so focused on their future....spending this year encountering challenges and problems which I never knew I would ever come across..and the one thing thatI got to experience, which suprised me the most was building relationships that I never thought possible. These special relaitonships which were built up with some of the people here are amazing, i can say. This might sound really cheesy, and you may think it doesnt exist, but it does, and it's real. Ofcourse there were the occasional arguments and huge dramas that I;m sure everyone comes across...And believe me when I say this, if you think that the dramas and cat fights that you see on tv aren't real.... you are so wrong. Especially in a school with so many big personalities put together, it's crazy. It's just crazy=) haha but it's all part of the fun isn't it haha. Anyway, besides all the drama, underneath all that, true relationships form, and I cannot describe in words how special it is, and how thankful I am to have met the people that I've met over the past year. You'd just have to experience it yourself.
I;m looking forward to the next year, U6 man! It's also the last year, and let me tell you, on that very last day of term next july, we are gonna be swimming in tears. I am almost dreading for that day to come because of the goodbyes and all that, however, every ending is a new beginning and I'm excited for everyone to be starting a new chapter of their own in their lives, and I cannot to wait to see and hear about the amazing things that they are gonna accomplish. =) These people have so much drive their lives, they're working and fighting for their dreams, and it;s so so good to see that. Everyone out there, who are working and fighting so hard for your dream, you have my respect=) You should oh so very proud of yourselves, give yourself a pat on the back=) hehe *pat pat*, that's from me haha=) And for anyone out there, who has a dream, DON'T GIVE UP! seriously=) I know that I may not know anything about your life, and so I probably wouldn't know how you feel. But, all I can say is JUST KEEP GOING.
In life, you will not be handed a challenge if you did not have the strength to pull through it with a smile. That's what I believe in.

Faith, Righteousness and Love.=)

Have a great day!=)
